SONGS

Following are various songs to give an idea of what I would like to do. It is by no means a final list, and I am not saying that every one has to make the band's set list. A lot of these are songs I know how to play (with varying levels of expertise); others are songs I like but haven't yet sat down to learn.

I do have a number of original songs that I would like to do, and would hope that the other members of 351 Deluxe have the same and/or want to work on creating them.

And check out my newest favorite band, The Little Willies, featuring Norah Jones on vocals and keys, and Jim Campilongo on guitar. "Gotta Get Drunk" and "Lou Reed" are priceless.

On the other side of things, I'm not looking for typical, hear it everyday on the radio pop. Don't get me wrong....I like some of that stuff. Green Day, White Stripes and the Foo Fighters are great; I really appreciate the talent of what you hear on WMZQ; I've happily played some sappy Shania Twain at a wedding; I'll even admit to being impressed with Kelly Clarkson's Grammy Awards Show performance; and some songs are rightfully classics...but do we really need the 2,583rd rehash of All Along the Watchtower?

What I'm trying to say is that there will always be songs that you like....good songs....that are just made for a different band. But on the other hand, there are thousands of lesser-known songs that would fit right into 351 Deluxe.
